When it’s got to be timber

We’ve been in the windows business for over 50 years but even we admit sometimes only wood will do. Whether it’s the history, the character, its unique finish or the listed building friendly designs, we still love the quality that comes from a high quality wooden window. Let’s not forget wood is exceptionally environmentally friendly and offers the lowest heat conductivity of any frame material.

Choose sash for a traditional look

Vertical sliding sash is the classic English window, popular for over 300 years. It’s practical, space saving vertical opening made it perfect for houses that opened directly onto the street but became widely adopted to add a touch of grandeur. Precision crafting and advanced timber treatment results in easy operation with no sticking, wobbling or rattling.

Choose casement for a simple design

Casement is the simpler window with hinged sashes rather than vertical sliding. With less maintenance and easy operation, they may lack the style and intricate workings of a sliding sash, but they are highly practical.

Everest's latest customer window reviews

5 star review for garage doors
Everest fitted some hard wood french windows to my lounge on Friday and I am really pleased with the quality and the customer experience. I decided not to go for PVC as the rest of my windows are wooden and they look more in keeping with the style of my property. No pushy sales tactics from Everest and they left us a printed quote so we could think it over in our own time. We had a couple of questions that they answered straight away and the fitters were really friendly, did a good job and left the house tidy. Louise Dolan 6/6/18
